who we are

Hollyhock Land & Livestock is goats and humans and the land we trek across — forging a worthwhile future

encouraged by ancestral tradition of the Swedish fäbod and Czech pastoralism, we seek to reunite herds with landscapes and the humans that tend them. for too long landscapes and humans have gone without the very necessary influence of ruminant animals; their impact is ecological, communal, and cultural.

Bee Lutz has tended their own goats since 2019, starting with five wild-spirited yearling does and a good handful of hubris. Bee found their way to goats and grazing by way of vegetable farming, working in restaurants before that, and a reverence for the natural world cultivated by the likes of Steve Irwin when growing up in the suburbs. their greatest passion is grazing and reconnecting livestock, humans, and land.
